New Year & Some New Images!

Happy New Year to all! Since the beginning of December I have had three sessions! The Lord has been good.

On December 5, 2009, I held a session with the Hamelinck family and their new baby girl. Their session was the first I have attempted using indoor lighting. They were patient, and allowed me to adjust, and pose them as necessary, and their pictures turned out great! It was an experience photographing a newborn, and I learned several things that I will use in my next newborn session. Here are just a few shots from their session that I found enchanting:

On January 2, 2010 I was able to do a session with one of my best friends and her horse! It was the first time I had done a session with a horse, and it was great. There are different challenges associated with photographing different animals, and Star (my friend’s horse) was no exception. She balked at times, but did wonderfully overall.
