Impromptu Photo Session at Toisnot Park

Last Friday (October 7th-to be precise), I had the opportunity to photograph an old friend!  The weather was lovely and because my friend was very late (ok, ok, we’ll just say she was “fashionably late”!) I got some great 5:00 light that I wouldnt have gotten if she had been on time.  So, yes, being late to a photoshoot does have its advantages, sometimes!

We were able to catch up and get some great shots all at the same time.  That’s what I call a good multi-tasking session!

Here are two of my favorite images from the session:

I love this one mostly because of the beautiful lighting going on!  This type of  “etheral”, late afternoon light fascinates me with how happy and airy images feel.

I like this image because even though she isn’t looking at the camera, you can see the animation in her expression.  What she was saying was important to her.  I caught her in the midst of speaking of something she cared about!
