Things I love, December 2015 Edition | Raleigh NC Family Photographer, Triangle Area Family Photographer

It’s 2016 everyone, can you believe it??? I can’t.

I know I skipped November Things I Love but I’m back now with three of the things that made me happy in December.

1) Wet & Wild Eyeshadow Palettes Comfort Zone and Petal Pusher

I’ve heard a lot of good things about these little palettes and I’m really glad that I decided to purchase them myself and see if the hype was real.

I know it’s bad to think that something so affordable ($4.79, here) could be of such good quality but in my experience things that are cheaper (especially makeup) usually don’t have the best reputation for quality.  Anyway, they’re gorgeous and if you love eyeshadow, I would definitely recommend going to Walgreens or another local store and picking some up.

2)     My Name is Earl tv show

December has been a rough month for me.  I’ve had some health issues come up and I’ve also been struggling a lot with anxiety, sadness and a little depression.  However, one night when I was in a particularly low mood, my boyfriend pulled this show on Netflix and I found myself really laughing for the first time in a while.

Laughter is underrated but it’s essential and I think that sometimes we don’t notice we haven’t done much of it until we find ourselves laughing again. If that makes any kind of sense.

If you are in need of some laughs, check this show out!

3) Starbucks Iced Salted Caramel Mocha

This is soooooooo good.  I’ve treated myself to it a few times this month.  And since December has been unseasonably hot here in North Carolina, I got it over ice!!!!

That was three of my favorite things of December.  If you have any comments on anything I listed, or want to share your December favorites with me, head over to my Facebook page and send me a message or comment!
