On April 10, 2010, I was privileged to shoot Lacy H.’s Senior Portraits at Lake Wilson. Lacy had a bad experience with the photographer who shot the portraits at her high school, and knowing what she was looking for, came to me to schedule a session. Lacy was open to different ideas, but also knew exactly the look she wanted, and did not want. My session with her went well, I wish her the best!

On April 16, 2010, I was able to have a session with April G. & Christina L. April is the daughter of an old family friend, & Christina is one of her best friends. It’s hard to believe that April is graduating. I remember her as a small child. How time flies! Having a chance to shoot best friends was interesting. I wasn’t able to get to know them very well at our first meeting, but I was sure that if they were together, they would help each other out and things wouldn’t be awkward at the session. I wasn’t disappointed. They chose the Wilson Agriculture Center for their session, and we all had a good time with a lot of laughs along the way.

Christina loves piano, and April is going to school for Graphic Design in the fall. They both wanted to show their love for these hobbies in their portraits, so we were able to get creative. I love the shots we were able to create in the meadow. The atmosphere was just right.

On April 17, 2010 a good friend of mine asked me to do photos of her two sons who are involved in baseball. I was able to schedule a last minute session, and get a few of the boys with their gear on. They were great, and enjoyed getting their photos made.

On May 1, 2010, I did a session with a co-worker, her fiance, and son. Caiden, the little boy, loved balls, and insisted one be with him in most of the photos. One of the funniest moments of the session was when he inadvertantly threw the ball into the lake, where no one was able to recover it. Afterwards, he walked around looking very sad, and saying, “ball, ball.” Though he was very active, I managed to get a few good photos, as well as a few of his parents by themselves.

It’s been a great few months. I want to thank all my clients for choosing me, and allowing me to provide them with some memories they’ll treasure forever. I’ve had a wonderful time, and look forward to what this summer holds for my business!
